Compliance is the first gate a commercial project fails. This page sets out which standards we manufacture to, which markets they apply in, and what documentation is issued — so your consultant gets an answer before anything is ordered.
How to specify compliance correctly
The standard that applies is set by your project specification and fire consultant, not by us. The three that come up most often are NFPA 701 for US projects, BS 5867 for the UK, and EN 13501-1 for fixed construction elements in the EU. Tell us which one is named and we build and document to it.

Outdoor grade is a material decision made at order stage, not an after-market treatment. In coastal and Gulf-region projects specify it explicitly, and name the summer peak temperature and the wind load your structural engineer has given — both change the specification.
What we need from you to document your project
- The fire standard named in the project specification (NFPA 701, BS 5867 or EN 13501-1)
- The country of import, so the right conformity route is identified
- Whether your importer needs SASO/SABER (Saudi Arabia) or ESMA/ECAS (UAE) coordination
- The UV exposure condition — indoor, sheltered outdoor, direct sun, or poolside/coastal
- The wind load and fixing detail if the item is roof-mounted or in an exposed location
- Any chemical declaration format your procurement team requires (REACH, RoHS, Prop 65)
